Summary: Oil rigs suck. They just suck. If they're not disrupting the natural order of things, they're blowing up and causing greater disasters. Thankfully, this one doesn't explode. But it does get invaded.

History: Somewhere in the ocean, there's a huge oil rig owned by some rip-off of Weyland Yutani. And just like the Xenomorph-abusing company it apes, it's got monster troubles too. The only difference is that this beast is from the depths, is more humanoid, yet is just as sneaky and violent.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After getting caught in the middle of explosions and stabbings, the monster is finally brought down when an explosive flare gets shot and imbedded into its hide, blowing it to pieces.

Powers/Abilities: Its barbs can get lodged into people, and grow anew.

Weakness: Heavy artillery.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-The issue is that we are barely able to actually see this monster. Then again, most of its bloody kills speak for themselves. It all falls to pieces if you actually get one good look at its face. It looks like that of an anglerfish, sure, but damn, those eyes make it look so precious.

Trivia: -This film was shot on location at the rig known as "Mr. Charlie", the first submersible drilling barge rig to drill offshore wells.

-Oh, and now Mr. Charlie is a museum/training ground for people who would like to work at rigs. Well, someone's gotta do it.
